Green is the “in thing” now and taking an environmental stance is easy to do. We know the most common ways to go green such as recycling, using the new compact fluorescent light bulbs, conserving your electric energy, using environmental-friendly cleaning products and walking instead of driving or driving a hybrid car.

There are several more things you can do to go green; but one of the most popular ways to go green is to transform your home into a green home or buy a green home. Green homes are made with recycled materials, solar panels are added for power, lots of natural drought resistant plants, flowers and bushes are added around the exterior of the home to conserve more energy.   There’s actually so much more that can be done.

Buying a green home or transforming a home into a green home can cost a bit more than the traditional home.   However,  over the years you will actually save thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars simply by going green.
